FOR THOSE TEMPERATURES TO CLIMB LATER ON. THESE ARE YOUR WIND SPEEDS ACROSS THE STATE RIGHT NOW, RANGING ANYWHERE FROM 20 TO OVER 30 MILES PER HOUR. AND THAT RAISES THE CONCERN FOR THAT RISK OF WILDFIRES. TAKE A LOOK AT THESE RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES THIS AFTERNOON AND THAT 30 TO 45% RANGE. AND ESSENTIALLY WHAT THIS MEANS IS THAT RELATIVE TO THE TEMPERATURE, THE AIR IS VERY DRY. SO ANY MOISTURE WITHIN THE FUELS OUT THERE IS EVAPORATING QUICKLY. AND THAT COULD CERTAINLY SET UP THE POTENTIAL FOR A QUICKLY SPREADING FIRE. SO A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR PRETTY MUCH THE ENTIRE STATE TODAY THROUGH 8 P.M. FOR CRITICAL FIRE DANGER.
